I am an environmental researcher, landscape architect, and science writer. My interests pursue diverse routes of study in the social and natural sciences. A focus on how humans experience, modify, and adapt to changing urban and natural environments connects my thinking across  scientific inquiry, design, and communication.

Broadly, I focus focus on land use, climate adaptation, and environmental policy. My research examines how environmental regulation, land use change, and growth and development interact to shape resilience across flood-prone landscapes—particularly through the lens of wetlands and disaster mitigation.

I investigate both the ecological consequences of policy decisions and the spatial dynamics of risk and resilience. My work aims to inform more just and ecologically grounded approaches to climate adaptation and land governance.
